Site Config

The Web Configuration setting allows you to set up your website’s details for push notifications. Here, you can define your site name, site URL, and site icon, ensuring a branded and professional experience for your subscribers.

Web Configuration Form

To configure your website, fill in the following fields:

• Site Name - Enter the name of your website. This will be used in notification prompts and branding.

• Site URL - Provide the full URL of your website (e.g., https://yourwebsite.com). This must match the domain where you are integrating push notifications.

Upload Your Site Icon

Your site icon appears in push notifications, ensuring instant brand recognition.

How to Upload Your Site Icon?

• Click the “Upload Image” button.
• A popup modal will appear with the following options:
  • Upload: Manually upload a new image from your device.
  • Recent Files: Select from images recently uploaded to the system.
  • External Image URL: Paste an image URL to use an externally hosted icon.

Caution

• Dimensions: Square image (e.g., 192x192 pixels).
• Formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, AVIF, SVG.
• File Size: Up to 2 MB.
• Note: Animated images are not supported.

Note

Recommended: Using an external image URL is a great option when you want to host your site icon outside the platform (e.g., on a CDN or your own server). This ensures the image is accessible and can be updated easily without uploading the file again.

Branding Control

Remove “Powered by AlertWise” Label

• Free plan users cannot remove the “Powered by AlertWise” branding.
• Upgrade to AlertWise Pro to enable white-label notifications.

Why remove branding?

• Creates a more professional notification experience.
• Strengthens brand trust and recognition.

Save Changes

Once you’ve completed the form, click the Save Changes button to confirm and apply the changes to your site config settings.
