Action Buttons

Action buttons allow users to interact directly with your push notifications by providing clickable call-to-action (CTA) buttons. These buttons can be used to drive traffic to a website, open an app, or perform specific actions, increasing user engagement and conversions.

Adding Action Buttons

Action buttons are an optional feature in Alertwise push notifications. They will only appear when the user clicks the Add Action Buttons toggle. Once enabled, users can configure up to two action buttons.

First Action Button

• First Button Title: The text displayed on the button.
• First Button URL: The destination URL the button links to.
• First Button Image URL (Optional): A small image/icon that appears alongside the button.

Enabling a Second Action Button

To add a second button, select the Show Second Button option. When enabled, the following fields appear:

• Second Button Title: The text displayed on the second button.
• Second Button URL: The destination URL for the second button.
• Second Button Image URL (Optional): A small image/icon for the second button.

• Keep button text concise: Use short, action-driven phrases like Buy Now or Learn More
• Ensure URLs are valid: Make sure links are active and direct users to relevant content.
• Use high-quality images: If adding button images, ensure they are clear, small size and visually appealing.
• Limit button use: Too many options can overwhelm users. Use only relevant actions.
